Fall 2010 The Sustainable Wood Resource Tour
On October 15th, 2010 the BLA hosted a tour (by bike or van) that tracked local wood resouces in Portland from forest to finished product. Builders, designers, forest professionals and the public joined the tour, which included the following stops and topics: The Granger House, Lone Fire Cemetery, Nussbuam Furniture Workshop, Urbal Timer Works, Sustainable Northwest Wood and the Build Local Alliance Happy Hour.
