Craftsmen and Builders

Craftsmen and Builders are the final link between responsibly grown wood and a completed project, whether that represents a hand-crafted baby cradle or an entire building. They bring the purpose of the Build Local Alliance full circle.

Our Craftsmen and Builder members use locally grown, re-purposed and salvaged wood including Doug Fir, Western Red Cedar, Spruce, Oregon White Oak, Maple, and Madrone, whether building a new LEED office space or remodeling a Victorian-era family home. Their passion for combining local materials with sustainable building techniques embodies the environmental responsibility the Build Local Alliance strives to uphold.
